SURPRISE!!!

Yup......it's really what you think it is:)....SNOW!! This is what has been happening around here off and on today....this morning it looked like rain and was really cold. The kids were getting ready for school and MacKenzie said , I think we might need mitts....I asked her if it was that cold out....so I went out and felt for myself....it was COLD....I told them to get their spring coats off and they would be wearing their winter coats today along with hats and mitts....After all the grumbling they did, I am sure when they get home they will be THANKING ME! HAHA
Evan and I stayed home today...I really have no desire to go out into that cold. But I guess I will later as Aiden has his hockey pictures tonight.

Since I worked this weekend, I had time to catch up on some scrapbooking pages.

These 2 are the same....but different kids...lol...I got the idea out a scrapbook magazine.

I asked each of the kids to start a sentence with I AM and tell me about themselves.

Aiden as usual always makes me laugh with the things that come out of his mouth.....he gave me a few things...I am a hockey player, I am a helper, I am a brother...after about 5 I am's.....he looks at me and he says I AM DONE!.....LOL....I guess I AM wasn't as interesting as the show on TV....oh well, at least I got a few I AMS out of him.

Wake Me up Tomorrow!

Oh boy.....what a day this has been. Today Aiden is having his 5th Birthday Party with his friends. Yesterday I went to Guelph to get the loot bag goodies and some other things for the Party. I went to the Paper Factory to get a Pinata-I decided to get balloons then too, and the girl told me they guranteed their balloons for 48hrs. I left there and ran into Walmart for a few things.....when I came out....one balloon had broke....no big deal, and I certainly wasn't driving back across the city for one balloon. Today I ran to Fergus to get the food and figured I would buy some more balloons for outside. This trip turned into the BIGGEST NIGHTMARE of my life....Evan screamed pretty much the whole way around the Grocery store....and we're not talking a crying scream. It's this HIGH pitch scream he does now when he wants something.....and honestly it drives me BATTY, and I am sure everyone in Zehrs was glad to see us out of there. Then I pick the shortest checkout----which turned into the LONGEST checkout....as they couldn't find a code or price for an item someone ahead of had. OYE!!!

We get home here, and my mums have fallen over again.....I get Evan into bed....as he has now cried, screamed and kicked the whole way home, I decide to water my mums as they are dry .....the hatch of the van is open, I get all the mums watered....and look up to discover the bag of balloons is flying above the house....SERIOUSLY.....I was ready to call it quits....I either want this day to END NOW.....or start over NOW......Well I should get off here, and get ready for 9- 5 year olds to come, sooner than I want today. "CALGON TAKE ME AWAY:)"

On A Roll

I'm super impressed with myself tonight. Started a scrapbook page, finished it and posted it all in the same night....normally I start a page, leave it for a few days...which turns into weeks...and then post it...lol. This is a L/O of the boys playing on the swings...a rare moment of Aiden pushing Evan....which I might add... didn't last long...lol

Here's a new L/O that I have partially finished. It still needs a bit of journaling but other than that, it's done.

This is a kit I purchased at Two Friends Scrapbooking. It has pictures of every month from 2007 and 4 big pictures in that year. I really liked how it turned out so I even scraplifted and did another page following this L/O.....will show that one another day. Happy Tuesday!

Snow Fun

I know, I know.....it's July.....but with this humid weather we're having I thought it might cool us off seeing a Winter Layout. HAHA

This is a Layout of Evans' first winter. He didn't really know what to think of the white stuff, but had fun crawling around in it none the less.

Short post today.....house needs cleaned:( and we are off to the Fireworks in Mount Forest tonight. Have a good weekend.

2 Boys,Water and a Bathtub!

Two Scrapbook Friends had a sketch challenge posted on their blog a while ago. I thought it was a good sketch so I played along. Although I didn't end up posting it.

The kids rarely have baths, as we are all shower people.....but Evan had a big mess one day and I had to throw him in the tub....Aiden decided he needed to get in too. They had so much fun in the tub, Evan thought it was great to splash the water EVERYWHERE and Aiden had a Hoot ringing the cloth out on Evan's head....Boys will be Boys!!
